I have been seeing a lot of plaid in magazines and online at the moment and I’m not sure how I feel about it. On the one hand I like the look of the pieces I’ve selected (above, especially the Vivienne Westwood Taxi Yellow & Plum Tartan skirt) they’re not too over the top and can be worn with basic black and white. On the other hand – it’s plaid! It dates so quickly and I think that by the time I find a piece I actually like and would be willing to wear it’ll be out of fashion again.
Plus it gives me flashbacks of wearing green plaid golf pants all the way through Uni *shudder* – yep I was tragic! What do you think, are you a fan of this plaid revival?
