Last night I attended Get Your Frock On’s Fashion Frocktail Extravaganza at The Whitehouse Institute, a fundraiser supporting Frocktober Inc. and the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) with all funds raised going towards finding an early detection test for ovarian cancer.
I went along with two gorgeous girls; my niece TIlly (above) and my colleague Erin (who is also a budding milliner, more of that in future posts). We had a great night filled with champagne and canapés and we were spoilt with The Whitehouse Institute’s couture collection from Melbourne Spring Fashion Week runway collection, with some pieces specifically designed for the event. These were my favourite pieces, they were very tribal and Game of Thrones-esque:
Here’s some more fashion fierceness from the runway show:
We also were entertained by Australian Idol runner-up Emily Williams, belting out an awesome Donna Summer number. We were all rocking in our seats.
A fabulous night was had by all, and here’s hoping they raised a lot of much needed money for a truly worthy cause! If you’d like to donate to OCRF please visit their website http://www.ocrf.com.au/
