Ooooooh gold! How I wish I had the splash cash to buy all the pretty, glittery things. For the longest time, back when I was wearing golf pants and sporting a cropped red ‘do (let’s call that the Bad Times) I never would have imagined that I would love gold. The fanciest I got was popping glitter all over and perhaps sticking an inappropriate bindi on my forehead thinking I was Gwen Stefani. And let’s get one thing straight – I was FAAAAAAAAR from Ms Stefani!
Anyhoo, I digress. I only started wearing gold a few years ago, preferring to stick to silver. There was something so old fashioned about it that didn’t appeal to me then. Maybe that’s why I love it so much now in my older age. These are some of the items I’m lusting after this week. How simply gorgeous are those heels, and that jacket?! But my favourite is the teacup and saucer. It’s so delicate and pink with just a hint of gold edging. Simply beautiful.
