OOTD: Sing a Rainbow; Day One – Red

Purple and orange and blue

I can sing a rainbow

If you’ve been reading my little blog for a while you’ll know that my life is the epitome of “colour-poptastic” (yes I made up a word!). I love wearing lots of colour and try to incorporate as much as possible into my daily outfits.  I saw this spread in the November Harper’s Bazaar and it really struck a chord with me. I wondered if I had enough colour in my wardrobe that I could wear the “rainbow” over a course of a week. It got me thinking about my last clothing challenge “Denim Skirt Plus” which I completed over last Christmas (more on this tomorrow). WAS THIS A NEW CHALLENGE? Could I possibly wear a colour a day in order of the song? Red, yellow, pink, green, purple, orange and blue? I love a challenge so the answer is YES!

So welcome to Day One of the OOTD: Sing a Rainbow challenge = Red!

This is my new dress from Mix Apparel which I bought on sale for $19 – love it! It’s a little red and white chevron dress, perfect for day one’s challenge. I’ve teamed it here with my red Target cardigan that I bought last year. This was a fab little Sunday outfit to head out for a picnic with my parents and then a movie in the evening with a girlfriend.
