As you may have seen in last Friday’s post it was my birthday! A big thank you to everyone who wished me well on my special day, either on the blog or through Twitter/Facebook and in real life 🙂
I wanted to share some pics of the goodies I received as I am lucky and very blessed to have such great family and friends who shower me with special treats. Yes, that is a Tiffany & Co. bag you can spy! Too, too spoilt I know.
I also managed to buy myself a present too, of course! This was before I booked tickets to the US in July – yes dollfaces I’m off to the US to see Def Leppard again and Sephora here I come!! From here on out I’m on a self imposed shopping ban and am not allowed to buy any clothes and make-up and have to bring my own lunch in to work at least 4 days a week. Boring, I know, but it has to be done. So aren’t I lucky that I’ve got new make-up and other goodies to tide me over ’til July?!
Soooooo before all that, I bought myself some tix to see Lisa Marie Presley, as I thought this will be the closest thing to Elvis I’ll ever get! Am I nuts? I hadn’t heard any of her music before my sister and I ventured out to the Arts Centre last night but I felt like the ghost of Elvis WANTED me to go and see her.

She was amazing! When she walked out on stage I could’ve cried as it was just like looking at Elvis – the resemblance is uncanny. I loved the show, the music was an awesome blend of blues, country and rock and she was super lovely and gorgeous. Lisa Marie definitely has a new fan in me 🙂

What was the Tiffany present? A pair of earrings (studs) that had Tiffany & Co. written on them. They’re were from one my brothers and sister-in-law – bless them 🙂
