OOTD: Think Pink

I love bright and sunny days in winter. There’s something magical about a cool, crisp day filled with warm sunshine. Not to mention the fact that I can get away with not wearing stockings – #winning! We had a glorious weekend over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend so we drove down to the beach for some happy snaps.

Over the long weekend I took the opportunity to clean out and rearrange my wardrobe in preparation for all the shopping I’ll be doing soon *rubs hands in anticipation* and I came across this vintage white dress, another stolen item I’ve nabbed from my mum – she had great taste back in the 70s, now not so much – sorry mum!! I thought it’d be fun to team it with my bright pink trench coat from Express and then throw in some leopard print heels too while I’m at it.

Do you have any great vintage pieces in your wardrobe? I used to be a bit of an opp shopper back at Uni but not a huge fan now. Something about the smell of moth balls and rifling through racks of clothes to find a decent item doesn’t entice me. I should though, it’s a great way to recycle and you can find some amazing clothes if you have the patience. Any Melburnians know of any great opp shops around town?

 Happy Friday everyone 🙂

  1. Your look so pretty! Dress is great on you! And I love the leopard shoes!! In high school I loved to go to vintage stores and found some great items! But not so much anymore. 🙂

  2. Just discovered your blog through blogchicks.com.au (purely clicked on your link because I liked the URL) and wanted to let you know I love it! And I just love your little description ‘for anyone that ever had Dior dreams but is living on a Kmart budget’.
