OOTD: America the Beautiful

Happy belated 4th to all my Yankee doodle friends! I know this is a little late but since we don’t celebrate the 4th of July here in Oz it doesn’t matter!  In honour of the day last Friday I tipped my hat to Uncle Sam and put an OOTD together that would have done him proud. I also managed to bust out another coat so I’m sticking to my promise.

I teamed my comfy boyfriend jeans, which were purchased in Vegas last year (sorry don’t remember the store name), with an old Cotton On red + white striped top and my white, fur trimmed Primark denim coat. I bought this when I was living in London 10 years ago for the princely sum of £10. Who says you can’t wear double denim?!

To finish off the look I’ve popped on one of my favourite blue scarves (from Bali) and cinched it together with a blinged out brooch. And the pièce de résistance – my gorgeous red heels from Styletread.

There you have it, I feel like I need a slice of pie right now to fully embrace the day. I know what flavour I’m having, what about you?
