QUICK! You find a magic lamp with a fabulously hunky, Matthew McConaughey-esque genie inside (hey, it’s my fantasy just go with it!) and he grants you three wishes…but there’s a catch. He can only grant you a lifetime supply of beauty products (damn, there goes that Johnny Depp/Matthew McConaughey-esque genie threesome you were just thinking about!) WHAT WOULD YOU WISH FOR?!
Without a doubt, my first wish would be to have ALL of the mascara – all of it! Every brand, every colour from every country, I WANT IT! I love unwinding the mascara wand and finding what magic lies beneath. The way one simple product can take my lashes and make them into something that looks like the love child of Bambi and one of the Kardashian’s. LUSCIOUS!
It’s very rare I’m not happy with a mascara I’ve purchased and that’s definitely true of Jordana Cosmetics Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara. This was highly recommended by Karen (from KPSays) as one of the best budget mascaras so of course I had to try it out. I can’t remember exactly how much I paid, but it’s RRP online is $2.99 and I can’t imagine I paid more than that from Duane Reade in NYC last July. That is incredibly cheap!
As you can see from the pics it totally lives up to its name – talk about VOLUMIZING! I’m well on my way to realising my Bambi/Kardashian dream. It’s also incredibly long lasting, almost too long lasting if that’s a thing. Best Lash needs a little more attention when removing as it’s very “tacky” which can probably be attributed to the beeswax in it.
My only fault in the Best Lash is that it can get a little clumpy after a couple of layers (I generally wear two), but that’s easily fixed with a Q-tip or brow brush. A little annoying but ultimately nothing too time consuming. Oh, also another fault is that it’s not available here in Australia – BUMMER!
So what would my two other wishes be? Hmmmm probably a really good foundation that covers my redness and ALL of the red lipstick.
What about you, what three beauty product wishes would you want my Matthew McConaughey-esque genie to grant you? I may just share him!

Hey Manisha, where are you based? I know we don’t get this here in Oz and have only ever seen it in the US. May be worth checking eBay or finding a US blogger to do a beauty box swap with 🙂
xo
I would need foundation, a bold lipstick – maybe a classic, deep red, and a decent eye liner 🙂
As for mascara, I suck at it. I always forget to wear it or forget I’m wearing it haha. I really do need to up my mascara game, considering the fact that I have short, straight lashes and I’m too scared to wear falsies!
We sound like we’re the same Kez! I love a good eyeliner too!! Oh to be able to master the cat eye – that’s my downfall hahaha 😊😊
I live for this mascara!!! Absolutely ❤️ IT! Great post! X
Thanks so much DM 😘😘
Girl, you can get a shitty dollar store mascara and still have great lashes!!!! Yes, the Jordana is a bit of work to take off, but I honestly think it’s my fave mascara still. I just tested a Chanel, and Benefit, and not so enamored. So behind on my posts. But my Jordana shines brightly!!!! I miss you!
You’re too kind Mama K! Ooooh which Chanel was it? I’ve yet to try the really high end mascaras – I’m too scared I’ll fall in love with them and then have to buy them all the time LOL!
Hello there! I could have sworn I’ve visited your blog before but
after looking at some of the articles I realized it’s new to me.
Anyhow, I’m definitely delighted I discovered it and I’ll be book-marking it and checking back often!
YAAASSSS!! So chuffed I bought 2 of these when we were in NYC! Oh my goodness your lashes are out of effing control… so lush and thick! Mama Karen ain’t never lied- so excited to open mine now hehee ♥♥♥
I really wish I bought more as well as other products from the range – I guess another trip needs to be booked!
Girl don’t you tempt me… I wish I’d bought more of everything!
