30-Day Wardrobe Challenge! Day 13: Interesting Neutrals

Day 13: Make a neutral outfit interesting by layering and adding a pair of statement shoes –

Ugh, I can’t do neutral! It’s just so BLAND! Out of the 13 days of this challenge this has got to be my least favourite look. This just isn’t me at all, I mean I would wear neutrals/grey but definitely not head to toe. Β I think if you’re going to wear neutrals you HAVE to add some pizzazz to your outfit otherwise it’s all too vanilla and boring. Definitely some funky shoes and jewellery are a must and you all know I’m a huge fan of wearing a scarf as a belt – bring on those 70s vibes.

How would you have styled this look? Are you a fan of neutrals and muted tones and am I just being a big baby?

  1. I think you look cute! But I am with you – everything needs some colour and some pattern – life’s too short! I feel like there are some people who can rock neutral and it’s totally their thing, but usually because the pieces they were are so amazingly designed, they are a statement piece somehow.
The exception I make is for an LBD. I am addicted to cute LBDs, but I do like colourful accessories and bright lippie.

  2. I love neutrals. But I definitely mix it up. I have a grey sweater like yours and I will wear it with a funky black and white floral poofy skirt. Cute outfit. Love your bobbles! Funky and fun!

    • Thanks so much!!
Exactly, I don’t mind the neutrals as long as they’re mixed in with some funky colours or patterns. This just looks way too serious for my liking LOL! xo

  3. *SCREAMING* I actually love this outfit! I have been a fan of head-to-toe neutrals ever since Kim K started rocking the look #DontJudgeMe LOL. You look gorgeous, so sleek and elegant. The scarf is a tres luxe touch too. Perfection! xo

Now it's your turn...let me know what you think. I love reading your comments! :)
