Bow down, biznatches! We have an absolutely FIERCE female in our midst, and just like the sun, if you stare too long you may go blind! If you’ve never heard of Iris Apfel you’re about to get a (brief) education.
Iris is a 94 year old (YES, NINETY EFFING FOUR) American interior decorator, but more importantly she’s a fashion icon and a face of Kate Spade. She rose to prominence while working on restorative projects in the White House for nine different presidents and she STILL does consulting work as well as lectures. All I know is that she a bright and refreshing spark. I absolutely adore her sense of style and only hope I can look this fabulous as I grow older. AND THOSE SPECS!!!
This Sunday I don my chunkiest beads and bow down to Iris, my fashion and style guru. You rock a pair of glasses like no one else I know!
