A Boxful Of Ego

Last month I was invited out to the Miss Universe Australia finalists media runway show which was sponsored by Elucent, a brand owned by Ego Pharmaceuticals. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it and I was so bummed as I’m a huge fan of QV Skincare products (another brand under the Ego umbrella). I wasn’t upset for too long as the lovely girls at Ego sent me out this AH-mazing box of products to make up for not being able to attend and I think I actually squealed with delight when I opened it up!

QV moisturiser and body wash are my go to skincare products when my skin isn’t behaving itself.  These are without a doubt the best skincare lotions and moisturisers for sensitive skin. If you’re prone to dry skin or break outs and need hypo-allergenic products – these are your bad boys!

I must admit I hadn’t heard of the Elucent brand before I’d been sent these products. They’re designed for mature skin (hello mid 30s, you cruel devil, you!) and use a multifaceted approach to younger looking skin. My favourite out of this range is the night moisturiser. It’s lovely and thick and makes my skin feel lovely and plump in the morning.

qv_rescue gelMy favourite out of all these products would have to be the QV shampoo and conditioner. For starters I didn’t even know these existed and I’m so sad I’ve been missing out on their fabulousness! It totally makes sense that I would love them as they’re designed for sensitive scalps, something I suffer from as well. I guess that’s what happens when you use A LOT of product in your hair and your scalp has an excess build up of hairspray, mousse, dry shampoo etc. (hey, I don’t have voluminous and zhuzh-ified hair naturally!). I’ve been using this for the last couple of weeks and I’ve noticed a major difference in the flakiness of my scalp. I definitely can wear black with confidence now, if you catch my snow drift!

Are you a fan of Ego? I didn’t realise that there are something like 130 different products in the range – what’s your favourite?

  1. Will definitely keep the the night cream in mind! I’ve sadly realised I’m in my 30s lately too. My skin gets drier and night cream seems like an easy solution! I’m using Nivea but I’d like to try different kinds before I decide I’ve found The One!

Now it's your turn...let me know what you think. I love reading your comments! :)
