There aren’t many actresses who receive an Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe award after starring in their first ever movie role but this Sunday’s Fierce Female certainly did just that with her role in Roman Holiday!
Audrey Hepburn just oozed feminine chic so effortlessly and it’s her role as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s that cemented our love affair with her. The dress she wore in the opening credits is legendary and has become one of the most iconic little black dresses of all time.
Not only was she a fabulously talented actress but was also a Goodwill Ambassador with UNICEF and devoted her final years to helping impoverished children in third world countries.
This Sunday I don my faux pearls and toast Audrey; an absolute style icon that will be remembered for generations to come.
