OOTD: White Night Melbourne

“White Night Melbourne is the city as you know it, turned on its head in a dusk ‘til dawn celebration of culture and creativity. A night where the surreal seems real, White Night Melbourne is a rare opportunity to experience the city in a different light.”

There’s no other place I love more than my own hometown of Melbourne! It’s a fun and funky city that’s constantly humming with fabulous things to see and do, amazing places to eat, with shopping that’s to die for (as is evident by my obsessive love of fashion!) and new exciting events to explore. It’s no wonder it’s been named the world’s most liveable city five years in a row!! Melbourne sure knows how to party and have a great time and this Saturday’s 3rd annual White Night is one such party.

From 7pm until 7am the city is awash with people, lights and activity. Iconic Melbourne streets and laneways will be transformed into performance spaces and art installations for one night only. I love the fact that you can totally be taken on a journey across the city and not see the same thing twice!

White Night started back in Paris back in 2002 (ooooh tres chic!) and although it’s called “White Night” it by no means has a dress code and you don’t have to wear white. But y’all know I love a good old fashioned pun, as do the lovely peeps at boohoo.com, who have an amazing selection of white clothing to help you look the part.  I’ve gone with this fabulous oversized asymmetrical tee that I’ve fallen in love with. I love how this OOTD is a little bit edgy but still casual enough to traipse along the streets well long after my curfew.

Are any of my fellow Melburnians heading to White Night? If so what are you hoping to see??

  1. Oh, I love your outfit! It’s perfect for a nice out, especially the one you’re described! The red heels are a perfect pop of colour, and you certainly can’t go wrong with a fashion pun! It sounds as though you’re in for a fantastic time.

  2. You’d better SLAY!!! I love the asymmetrical top, and those leather jeans are just incredible. And you know I love a pop of colour so the shoes, lippy and ring are giving me pure life. Get it mama xo
