OOTD: Pink Flamingo

Even a crazy planner/scheduler like me could not have timed getting my hair unintentionally stained pink this week while I had this outfit post in mind. Thanks Miss Muddy! I mean how perfect is my new Jem hair teamed with this pink flamingo top?? Truth be told it’s not actually a top….it’s a nightie! Yup, I wear PJs out and about and I’m proud of it. I actually saw this top/nightie during my last H&M Christmas haul and had to have it. When I grabbed it off the rack I realised it was actually in the plus size, sleepwear section but I didn’t care. I knew that I would wear it this way; knotted up and all 80s/one shouldered. I am also absolutely LOVING the combination of pink and orange at the moment. These two colours were just meant to be together and may just have to be my theme colours now that the new season is here.

Speaking of the new season…hello autumn! Hmmm I have mixed emotions at this time of year. I get a little melancholy as the long summer days draw to a close and herald the long cold winter ahead. But at the same time I adore how beautiful autumn is with the changing colour of the leaves, crisp mornings and MY BIRTHDAY!

However, for the time being, I’m grasping on to the last dregs of summer.

  1. Your hair totally looks like you have done it on purpose 🙂
LOVING the outfit! Any chance you have seen episodes of MKR? There is a guy on there that is flamingo obsessed, as in so many of his outfits incorporate flamingos that it was the first thing I thought of when I saw this shirt LOL.

  3. Just wrote another poem featuring one of my friends, called “DON’T ASK ME WHY”. Title doesn’t really fit…but I tried! Hope it meets with your approval. If not…it can be replaced! 🙂
