OOTD: Bohemian Like You!

Two things I worried about most when I went pink was whether I had to give up wearing bright colours because they’d clash and if I’d be able to wear pink lipstick – IMPORTANT stuff people!! For the first few days I stuck to wearing black and eased up on my lipstick but by about day three I gave myself a good stern talking to. If I wanted to live by my ethos of living a colourpoptastic life then I had to start embracing it!

And what better way to embrace it than with this pop of blue, Indian-inspired shift dress?!

When I saw a pic of this dress online I immediately got bohemian/gypsy vibes and I saw myself wearing it with some cute sandals and loads of jewellery. I hardly ever bust out all of my bangles which is a huge shame because I have a whole box full of gorgeous pieces that never get seen. Blame it on my misophonia – the fecking jangling drives me bloody nuts!

The pattern on this dress is super cute and I love that it can be blinged out this way or stand out on it’s own as a statement shift. It’s also a welcome addition to the wardrobe as I make a list of all my dresses ready for Frocktober! Don’t forget I’ll be wearing a frock every day in October and more importantly you can help me raise money for Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation Inc (OCRF) while I do it.
