OOTD: Blazin’ Hot!

Would it shock any of you to learn that approximately 87.4% of my browsing on Pinterest revolves around sequins? I didn’t think so! I just love the way they can dress up any old outfit and add a bit of pizzazz and sparkle. For the longest time I didn’t like wearing them during the day because of that old silly fashion rule. After 3.5 years of blogging, and breaking several dumb rules along the way, I say the more sparkles during the day the better.

I’ve been lusting after a statement sequin blazer for the longest time and finally bit the bullet when asos had a sale last month. This particular blazer had been sitting in my favourites list for a while and I would keep adding it to my cart and then abandoning it when it came to crunch time – you know that old song and dance? It finally had been marked down and I had a 30% discount code so asos were practically giving it to me!

This blazer has arrived just in time for the festive season and I can’t wait to wear it with jeans and a top (a la this outfit) for drinks with the girls or draped over my shoulders with a dress for New Year’s shenanigans OR over my PJs on New Years day when I’m hung over and want to feel fancy AF.
