OOTD: Polka Dot Perfection

I may have broken one of my own cardinal sins; thou shalt not spend more than $70 on a piece of clothing (unless it’s a dress for a special occasion OR really super-I can’t live without it-fabulous!).

I honestly couldn’t help myself! I’d been circling this blouse (as well as a similar one with floral print) in Sussan over the Christmas hols and when I looked at the price tag I gasped in shock and amazement (how very dare they be allowed to charge 100 effing dollars!) and went about browsing in the sale section…but then I came back again and picked it up off the rack…and then popped it back with a sigh. THEN I went back a third time and thought FUCK IT! Merry bloody Christmas Rosie – TREAT YO’SELF – and I bought it along with the floral number. Just who the hell have I become?!

How could I not have bought it? Look at those sleeves! And could I really have passed up the opportunity to add more polka dots to my wardrobe? I think not. If there’s one thing you can be certain of is that I’m a nut for spots!

What I love most about this outfit is that it straddles the line between looking like a pair of pyjamas and just sheer polka dot perfection!
