This fierce female has lead the life most little girls dream of (well, this little girl for one!); being a big time movie star AND princess AND having a handbag named after you!
Grace Kelly was nothing short of glamorous and ever so beautiful. A true Hollywood studio actress of the 1950s who defied her parents (I love a rebel) and went on to star in some fabulous movies (my favourite being Rear Window) and win an Oscar in 1954 for The Country Girl. But I think her marriage to Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956 solidified her as a true icon, I mean what could be more fabulous than being a real-life princess?! Sadly after her marriage she never made another film and she tragically died at the age of 52 after suffering a stroke while driving and losing control of her car.
This Sunday I clutch my faux Hermes Kelly bag and toast Grace Kelly, a gorgeous film star and fashion icon who designers still look to for inspiration more than 50 years on.
A real life fairy tale princess

I love this series that you are doing to profile strong females! I had no idea that’s how she died 😦
